Last year, Microsoft introduced Enterprise App Management as part of the Intune Suite. This month, IT admins will notice a new tile on the overview page for managing app updates. This feature simplifies the process of creating update supersedence policies.
With just one click, admins can now access available application updates. The updated Apps Overview screen enhances visibility and accessibility for IT professionals.

Admins can set apps to update automatically when a previous version is detected on enrolled devices. This feature will also be available for Government Community Cloud (GCC) High and U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) environments in early 2025.

The Intune Company Portal app for Windows 11 has received a redesign. This update aims to improve user experience by providing a more intuitive interface. Users with auto-updates configured will receive the new version automatically.
The redesign makes it clearer when actions are required from users. Notifications are now more accessible, enhancing overall engagement with the app.
