Introducing Text Actions
The Snipping Tool update introduces Text Actions. This feature detects text in your captured screenshots, making it easy to copy and share text from any image or paste it into another app.

Redacting Sensitive Information
Text Actions also allows you to redact sensitive information in screenshots before sharing. Quick Redact can automatically hide emails and phone numbers, or you can manually select any text to hide.
Phone Link’s Remote Capture
Alongside the Snipping Tool update, Windows Insiders are gradually rolling out a new feature for Phone Link. This feature lets you access and edit your most recent photos from your Android device in Snipping Tool on your PC.
