Updated experience for Intune device compliance reports

Intune customer success is providing an updated experience for device compliance reports. This update focuses on modernizing the reporting infrastructure, providing a consistent and simple report experience, and updating the compliance policy monitoring experience.

Modernizing the compliance reporting infrastructure

To improve consistency between reports, Intune is consolidating back-end data sources. This will make queries more efficient and standardize all compliance reports to show only one compliance state per device. Additionally, this update will add Linux support to all compliance reports.

Simplifying the reporting experience

The updates to the infrastructure, coupled with improvements to the user interface tools, will support efficient paging for reports with many rows, exporting data in CSV format, searching for partial values in all columns, and filtering columns that have a constant set of values.

Updating the compliance policy monitoring experience

The overview and properties experience for compliance policies is being redesigned to be a similar reporting experience for device configuration profiles and the overall new Devices experience. This includes a device compliance summary in bar chart format and a link to a refreshed Per-setting status report.

Additional improvements and updates

Intune has already made improvements to the Device compliance, Device compliance trends, Noncompliant devices and settings, Devices without compliance policy, Noncompliant devices, Policy noncompliance, Device compliance, and Retire noncompliant device reports and monitors.
