Microsoft has just released Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22621-1835 and 22631-1835, which includes a variety of new features and improvements. These builds introduce a new File Explorer, a redesigned Start menu, and a new virtual desktop experience. Additionally, they include a range of security enhancements, bug fixes, and performance improvements.

Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22621/22631

Microsoft has released two new Windows 11 Insider Preview Builds, 22621.1835 and 22631.1835. These builds are available for download in the Fast ring.

What’s New?

The new builds include several new features and improvements such as:
  • A new Windows 11 Start menu with improved performance and reliability.
  • A new “Compact Overlay” window mode that allows you to keep an app window on top of other windows.
  • A new “Windows Subsystem for Linux” (WSL) that allows developers to run Linux applications on Windows.
  • Improvements to the Windows Update experience, including the ability to pause updates for up to 35 days.

What’s Important to Know?

The new builds are only available to Windows Insiders in the Fast ring. Insiders in the Slow and Release Preview rings will not be able to access the new builds. Additionally, these builds are still in development and may contain bugs.
