Windows Insiders can now experience enhanced Copilot features on Windows, including the new Highlights function for guided tasks in a single app and support for sharing two apps simultaneously. These updates aim to improve user interaction and productivity by providing visual cues and insights, making task completion easier than ever.

Exciting Updates for Microsoft Copilot on Windows
Windows Insiders, get ready for some thrilling enhancements to Microsoft Copilot! The latest update introduces new features that will transform your productivity experience. Let’s dive into what’s new!
What’s New in Copilot Vision
The standout feature is the Highlights function. Now, when you share a single app or browser window, Copilot can guide you through tasks using visual cues. Just ask, “Show me how,” and watch as Copilot highlights exactly where to click. This feature is perfect for tackling specific tasks.
“Copilot can guide, navigate, and coach you to complete a specific task using visual cues.”
Imagine sharing your Settings window and asking, “Show me how to turn on night light.” You’ll receive clear directions, making complex tasks feel effortless.
Major Updates: Two-App Support
Another significant update is the support for two applications. Copilot can now analyze and provide insights across both shared apps. For instance, if you’re planning a backpacking trip, share your packing list alongside an online checklist. You can then ask, “Is there anything missing from my packing list compared to the online list?” Copilot will help ensure you’re fully prepared.
How to Get Started with Copilot Vision
To begin using these features, click the glasses icon in your composer. Select the app or browser window you want to share, then ask Copilot for assistance. Stopping the sharing session is just as easy—hit the ‘Stop’ or ‘X’ button in the composer.
“We are excited to be previewing improvements with our Insiders to ensure all our customers have a great Copilot experience.”
What’s Important to Know
This update (version 25044.90 and higher) is rolling out gradually across all Insider Channels via the Microsoft Store. Currently, these features are available to Insiders in the U.S. Not every Insider will receive the update immediately, so patience is key!
As always, feedback is crucial. You can share your thoughts directly within the Copilot app by clicking on your profile icon and selecting “Give feedback.”
Stay tuned for more updates, and enjoy exploring the new capabilities of Microsoft Copilot on Windows!
