Exciting Updates for Microsoft Copilot on Windows

Microsoft is rolling out a fresh update for the Copilot app on Windows, and it’s packed with new features. This update is currently available for Windows Insiders, and it promises to enhance user experience significantly.

What’s New in the Update?

The latest version of Copilot introduces a native XAML app along with a revamped user interface. Users will now find a convenient side panel that allows them to start new conversations and view their conversation history effortlessly.

“Ask questions about your PC, like ‘How do I set up a Bluetooth headset on this device?’”

Copilot now provides tailored information based on your current version of Windows. This feature aims to make troubleshooting and setup easier than ever.

Major Updates to User Experience

Another noteworthy improvement is the quick access feature. Users can simply press Alt + Space to launch the Copilot app across all PCs. For those with a Copilot+ PC, the dedicated Copilot Key makes access even more seamless.

This update, version 25023.100 and higher, is rolling out gradually across all Insider Channels via the Microsoft Store. Therefore, not every Insider will receive the update simultaneously.

What’s Important to Know

As Microsoft emphasizes, feedback is crucial for refining the Copilot experience. Users can submit their thoughts through the Feedback Hub (WIN + F) under Apps > Copilot. Alternatively, feedback can be given directly within the Copilot app by clicking on the profile icon.

“We are excited to be previewing improvements with our Insiders to ensure all our customers have a great Copilot experience for Windows.”

Engagement from users will help Microsoft fine-tune this powerful tool. Remember, this update is just the beginning. As Copilot continues to evolve, expect even more features that enhance productivity and streamline tasks.
