At CES 2024, HP unveiled its latest Windows 11-powered PCs, including the HP Spectre x360 16 2-in-1 and HP Spectre x360 14 2-in-1. These laptops feature a dedicated AI chip, built-in security features, and are the first consumer devices to feature audio tuning by Poly. Additionally, the OMEN Transcend 14 and OMEN Transcend 16 Gaming Laptops were introduced for gamers and creatives.

HP’s Latest Portfolio Unveiled at CES 2024

At CES 2024, HP showcased its newest Windows 11-powered PCs, including the HP Spectre x360 16 2-in-1 and HP Spectre x360 14 2-in-1. These devices are packed with innovative features designed to enhance user experience and performance.

What’s New with the HP Spectre x360 16 and 14 2-in-1?

Both models come with a dedicated AI chip that powers a 9 MP camera with hardware-enabled low-light adjustment. The laptops also boast built-in security features such as walk away lock, wake on approach, and privacy alerts.

These devices also have a screen dimmer that activates when you look away, saving power. Furthermore, fan noise and temperatures are automatically adjusted for optimal performance based on the apps in use, laptop placement, and battery status.

Performance and Efficiency

Three engines (CPU, GPU, and NPU) across Intel Core Ultra and optional NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 processors perform a variety of local AI workloads. This results in faster, more efficient content creation and collaboration.

HP’s New Gaming Laptops

For gamers and creative professionals, HP introduced the Windows 11-powered OMEN Transcend 14 and OMEN Transcend 16 Gaming Laptop. The 14-inch version features an IMAX Enhanced Certified 2.8K 120Hz VRR OLED display, up to 11.5 hours of battery life, and up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPUs.

OMEN Transcend 16 Gaming Laptop

The 16-inch version has been updated with up to a 4K 240Hz OLED display option and the latest Intel CPUs. Both models come with a month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, offering access to hundreds of high-quality games on PC, console, and cloud.
