Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22621.2050 and 22631.2050 have been released to the Beta Channel. This build includes modernized File Explorer Home, Address Bar, and Details Pane, as well as Dynamic Lighting.

Microsoft is introducing a modernized File Explorer Home powered by WinUI. Recommended files for users signed into Windows with an Azure Active Directory (AAD) account will be displayed as a carousel and support file thumbnails. Quick Access folders, Favorites, and Recent also have an updated experience with WinUI. The address bar now intelligently recognizes local vs. cloud folders with built-in status. For OneDrive users, the address bar contains OneDrive sync status and quota flyout. A modernized details pane (ALT + Shift + P) is designed to help users access related content, stay up to date with file activity, and collaborate without opening a file.Dynamic Lighting
