Microsoft has released .NET Framework 4.8.1 (KB5011048) to Insiders in the Release Preview Channel on Windows 11, version 21H2 (original release), Windows 10, version 21H2 (LTSC), and Windows 10, version 22H2. It includes native support for the Arm64 architecture (on Windows 11 only), as well as accessibility improvements and other improvements.
Availability
.NET Framework 4.8.1 will soon be available on Windows Update and Catalog. It will also be available on Microsoft Store, Microsoft in education, Azure for students, and Microsoft 365 Education.
