New Features and Improvements for Windows 365 Boot
Windows 365 Boot is rolling out some exciting improvements. The highlight is the new personal mode, which allows users to boot to their Windows 365 Cloud PC from their company-owned device. This feature also includes a fast account switcher experience for effortless profile switching.

Another notable addition is the customized company logo and name for Windows 365 Boot. This allows organizations to personalize the login page with their branding from Intune.
Fail Fast Mechanism and Local PC Settings Management
The new fail fast mechanism for Windows 365 Boot eliminates the need to wait for the sign-in process to complete, only to discover a failure due to network issues or incomplete setup. This smart logic proactively informs users to resolve issues for a smooth login experience.
Moreover, it’s now easier to access and manage local PC settings directly from your Cloud PC under Windows 365 Boot.
Enhancements for Windows 365 Switch
Windows 365 Switch is also receiving some significant improvements. The improved disconnect experience allows users to disconnect from their Cloud PC directly from their local PC. This can be done by navigating to Local PC > Task view > Right click on the Cloud PC button > Disconnect.
Desktop Indicators and Handling Increased Connection Time
The desktop indicators now display the terms “Cloud PC” and “Local PC” when you switch between your respective PCs. This makes it easier to differentiate between the two.
Lastly, Windows 365 Switch now gracefully handles increased connection time to Frontline Cloud PC, improving user experience.
